“She turned towards him and said in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (Jn 20:16)

“She turned towards him and said in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (Jn 20:16)

It is very interesting! Mary Magdalene was there in front of the tomb asking everyone where Jesus is. She felt sad that she couldn’t find Jesus’ body in the tomb. Two angels asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?” Again Jesus himself in the form of a gardener (as she mistook Jesus) asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it that you are looking for?” She has only one answer to all of them, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.” She wants to see Jesus, Jesus only. It is for this she woke up early in the morning and came to the tomb. Because of the Sabbath she couldn’t do proper anointing before Jesus’ burial. Now she is here to do it. But everything was in vain. While she was feeling sad, Jesus calls her by name, “Mary!” She turns toward Jesus and responds, “Rabboni!” A few moments back she was seeing angels and gardener, heavenly and earthly, just as the blind man at Bethsaida, “Yes, I can see people, but they look trees walking about.” But for Mary Magdalene now everything is crystal clear. Whatever may become fading and fake, a real personal touch adds colors to them. Let us stand for this value….

Take courage God is with you! Have a nice and blissful day….
