“He who endures to the end
will be saved.” (Mt 16:22)
The favorite description of
the God who drew up the old covenant was that he was “rich in kindness and
fidelity.” Fidelity means God’s faithfulness to the promises he made to Israel
in the covenant. We are called to this fidelity. Book of Revelation says, “Don’t
be afraid of anything you are about to suffer. Listen! The devil will put you
to the test by having some of you thrown into prison, and your troubles will
last ten days. Be faithful to me, even if it means death, and I will give you
life as your prize for victory”(2:10). This fidelity is not to someone, in some
places or for some time, but to everyone, always and everywhere. Christian life
is a challenging one. Hold out to the very end and there is the victory stand.
May God bless us and our intentions today! Wish you all the best…
Have a nice day.
